A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support and service to customers.   • Minimum 1-year experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.

Job description

Our client is a leading technology company which designs and manufactures appliances. They have set up their headquarters in Singapore to ramp up their expansion.

They are currently looking for Field Service Engineer to support their service centre by providing on-site service and technical support to their customers.

Candidates should be open to flexible retail hours and be able to provide 1st level support to customers.

  • Provide customers with technical support, including servicing/repairing their products.

  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience from a service/repair perspective.

  • Stationed at the outlet to handle customers’ technical issues and traveling to clients' sites as per scheduled rosters to provide technical support and assistance.

  • Responsible for the proper diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of customer products and appliances.

  • Provide real-time feedback to the Team Lead regarding technical support issues.

  • Report any emerging product reliability and safety issues.

  • Assist the Team Lead in investigating escalated repair instances.

  • Other duties as required.

If you are someone with the following, let’s chat!

  • A minimum 1-year experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar Customer Service role.

  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required.

  • Basic Mechanical and/ or Electrical knowledge required

  • Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment, and open to shift work

  • Good command of English (spoken and written)

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Flexibility to regularly rotate through different technical specialties and skill sets

  • Patience when handling tough cases
