Job summary

A construction main contractor based in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to lead shop drawing checks and coordination for projects. The successful candidate will hold a recognized degree or diploma in Architecture or Mechanical & Electrical, bringing at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. This role includes managing approvals of shop drawings, liaising with consultants, and rectifying technical issues on-site.

Job description

• Changi Business Park - Singapore ; Working location based on site

• Current project in Outram Park and Tuas

• Monday - Friday(8.30am to 5.15pm)

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree / Diploma in Architecture / Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent

• Min. 5 years’ experience in the Construction Industry preferred

• Well-versed in AutoCAD, Revit / BIM software in Architectural /Structural / MEP

Responsibilities:

• Involve and lead in checking and coordination of shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (eg Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works).

• Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications.

• Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.

• Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.

• Manage the receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings.

• Liaise and coordinate with working partners, Consultant, Authorities and Subcontractors during the construction phase.

• Rectify any technical and coordination issues that surface within the Project team and any related working partners.
