Job description

Account Executive

  • Machpherson / Paya Lebar

  • Working Days: 5 Days Work, Monday - Friday

  • Working Hours: 9am - 6 pm

  • Salary Range: $2500 - $3200

Job Description:
  1. Prepare and execute accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and full sets of accounts.
  2. Arrange payment schedules, update and follow up on payments, and submit daily and weekly reports to management. Work closely with management to avoid operational interruptions.
  3. Responsible for auditing financial transactions and controlling accounting documents.
  4. Prepare and report daily sales figures to the Director and Management.
  5. Prepare and report the annual Fixed Asset Depreciation Report to the Director & Management.
  6. Liaise with government authorities on accounting and financial matters, including audits and GST.
  7. Coordinate with external parties such as banks and government agencies regarding account and costing matters.
  8. Prepare daily credit card reconciliation reports, bank balance reports, and update daily bank transactions. Ensure proper fund disbursement and crediting.
  9. Manage petty cash and process reimbursements.
  10. Prepare bank deposits for counter cash collections.
  11. Handle quarterly GST submissions.
  12. Prepare yearly commission statements.
  13. Conduct monthly inventory stock takes, and handle asset and inventory disposal/write-offs.
  14. Assist with e-commerce payments.
  15. File and organize documents.
  16. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director & Management.
Job Requirements:
  1. Minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field or LCCI Accounting certification.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
