A leading company in the semiconductor industry is seeking a finance professional to monitor costs and provide financial support to operations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance, with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include analyzing cost variances, maintaining internal controls, and conducting stock counts. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor the standard cost updates in the ERP system.
Assign project numbers and budgets, maintain WIP project listing, and track monthly ERP posting variances.
Analyze cost variances and prepare costing reports; assess revenue, costs, and margins; and actively participate in reviews to improve manufacturing operations within the group.
Maintain internal control systems in compliance with corporate governance standards.
Provide financial support to the operations team and resolve any related operational issues that arise.
Conduct quarterly stock counts.
To prepare travel claims and authorization forms for overseas projects.
MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Accounting/ Finance, Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in manufacturing standard costing, auditing, budget plan, etc.
Assertive, self-motivated individual with good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Excel/PowerPoint etc
