Job description

Main Purpose of the Job:

Supporting Sustainability & Business Advisory team in the delivery of projects and professional assignments including net zero carbon assessments, environmental due diligence and ESG digital transformation.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

• Assist with project planning and preparation of project execution plans
• Support environmental site assessments, compliance audits, impact assessments, pollution control studies, permitting, remediation
• Performing fieldworks, measurements, and sampling of environmental media
• Preparing subcontracts and overseeing the work of subcontractors
• Support environmental data acquisition, analytics, and management
• Contribute to development of outstanding technical reports and presentations
• Proactively and diligently execute the assigned tasks, taking responsibility to meet the schedule, quality, environmental, health and safety requirements
• Support preparation of proposals/ tenders/ qualification information
• Support engagement with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders
• Other duties as may be required to support the needs of the business

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)

• Preferably graduates in Building Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Facilities Management or related disciplines. Graduates from polytechnics, and universities are welcome to apply
• Ability to work independently and in teams in fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple assignments and diverse stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, particularly technical report writing and presentation. An ability to summarise and explain outcomes to non-technical audiences is an advantage
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to details, self-motivated and exhibit independent thinking
• Comfortable to work in various environments from construction, industrial to wooded or rugged terrain
• Preferably with knowledge in carbon management, environmental management, green building certifications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• knowledge of environmental legislation and permitting in Singapore and other countries is an advantage
• Knowledge on environmental standards and frameworks such as ISO 14000 series of standards, Climate-related Financial Disclosures, UN Sustainable Development Goals is an advantage
