Job description

Job Title: Research Assistant

The National University of Singapore's Department of Paediatrics, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, invites applications for the position of Research Assistant. Established in 1962 by Professor Wong Hock Boon, known as the Father of Paediatrics in Singapore, the department has a rich history of distinguished educators and a strong focus on scientific research in areas such as oncology, genetics, immunology, metabolic diseases, cardiac health, and neurocognitive development. The position is initially offered on a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension.

Purpose of the Post

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of clinical and research staff dedicated to studying children’s self-regulation skills and brain development. The Research Assistant will work closely with the Principal Investigator and study team members to support research activities, with the aim of translating findings into clinical practice, policy, and public awareness.
