Job description

Transtech Technologies Pte Ltd is a leading provider of innovative lighting solutions for residential and commercial applications in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. We're seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our team and drive business growth in this vibrant market.

As a Sales Executive based in Singapore, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets for our lighting products and solutions across Singapore and potentially other ASEAN markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, facility managers, and other decision-makers to understand their lighting requirements and propose tailored solutions

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities in Singapore and assigned territories

  • Collaborate with relevant project stakeholders to provide specification works for decorative and architecture lightings

  • Preparation of proposals, product specification and datasheet

  • Provide solutions for control and automation of lighting systems

  • Introduce Lighting Products and Solutions at a retail level

  • Achieve sales targets and goals, with a focus on high value projects in the commercial and luxury residential segments.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the target market segment

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the target market segment

  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence to the management team

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary education in Marketing, Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in Singapore, preferably in the lighting or related industries

  • Strong understanding of lighting technologies and applications, with knowledge of local building codes and energy efficiency standards

  • Able to travel around Singapore if required.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good communication & initiative skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.

  • Ability to use AutoCAD (preferable but not a requirement.)
