Job Purpose

The Executive/ Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing assigned clinical services across the continuum of care, achieving outcomes in customer service, volume, financial targets, processes, and learning & growth perspectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Operations

  • Manage service point operations assigned.
  • Oversee daily operations, including front counter services, administrative and operational matters, partnering with Nurse Managers and doctors to resolve system and process issues.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure a positive patient experience along the care continuum.
  • Ensure facilities are patient-friendly, safe, and clean.
  • Coordinate with Nursing, Operational Support Services, and other stakeholders for clinic infrastructure and building improvement projects, ensuring user requirements are captured, site works comply with hospital standards, and projects are completed on time and within budget.

Customer Service

  • Achieve customer satisfaction targets in partnership with the Reporting Officer.
  • Innovate continuously to improve service levels.

Business Management

  • Meet volume and financial targets for assigned clinical services.
  • Develop and implement business plans with clinical heads to reach goals.
  • Handle annual financial budgeting, regular reviews, and development of new services.
  • Manage procurement and logistics needs for the business.

Staff Management

  • Manage non-nursing staff providing customer services, conducting appraisals with input from Clinic/Nurse Managers.
  • Ensure staff receive proper induction, orientation, and training.
  • Handle staff recruitment and retention in partnership with Nurse Managers to build a skilled and motivated team.

Communication

  • Facilitate communication between staff and hospital leadership, ensuring timely dissemination of information, issue escalation, and implementation of solutions.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implement hospital policies and procedures.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are current.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
