Job description

Assist the Team Directors in the performance of their duties.

1. Ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
2. Offer suggestions to improve the designs.
3. Produce sketch drawings.
4. Carry out design calculations.
5. Check design calculations.
6. Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/Approved Concept.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and office standards.
8. Check documentation complies with design requirements.
9. Attend and participate in design meetings.
10. Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual.

Requirements

1. Recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering, as a minimum.
2. 2-10 years of design experience in a consulting environment.
3. Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed development projects.
4. Experience in HDB design.
5. Fully familiar with and hands-on knowledge of the latest design software.

Additional Requirements

1. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Must be fully familiar with European code.
3. Hands-on experience with the analysis and design of large building projects in structural steel, R.C., and post-tensioned concrete.
