We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst / Project Manager to drive the delivery of Global Market solutions within a bank. The role requires a strong understanding of trading systems and processes, preferably front-to-back FX systems architecture.
We are seeking candidates with the following expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with a significant business analysis background, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
- Domain knowledge in global market products and system management in the finance sector.
- At least 5 years' experience as a business analyst in the mentioned domain, including gathering and documenting business requirements, performing detailed analysis to identify gaps, and collaborating with technology teams to propose solutions.
- 5 years' experience in project delivery, leading end-to-end product delivery for FX systems and new implementations, tracking project progress, monitoring risks, dependencies, and constraints, and providing regular status updates to senior management.
- Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and technology teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
- Previous exposure to global banking streams and products is preferable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of leading initiatives with ownership.
- Methodical, analytical, organized, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English and Chinese for cross-border communication with overseas offices in Taiwan and Mainland China.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze stakeholder requirements into business requirements documents.
- Formulate design and development proposals to enhance global markets technology efficiency and meet front office expectations.
- Deliver and support global markets platforms, ensuring quality of functional delivery and successful implementation and deployment.
- Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
- Assist support teams in resolving requests or issues related to Front Office, P&L, Market Data, and booking.
- Develop practical domain roadmaps with stakeholders to guide the enterprise towards the future state, considering business, technical, and delivery constraints.
- Communicate principles, standards, vision, and roadmaps to stakeholders, proactively addressing questions and concerns.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
