Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Paramedic to attend to medical emergencies onboard vessels and at the worksite. The ideal candidate will have SCDF Paramedic Level 3 certification and at least one year of operational experience. Responsibilities include conducting first aid training, maintaining medical facilities, and liaising with the Medical Centre. This role requires a team player who can work under pressure and is prepared for flexible hours.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Attend to medical / trauma cases onboard vessels & worksite.
• Conduct 1st Aid training for Safety Personnel.
• Maintain 1st Aid facilities in the yard.
• Maintain emergency equipment in the ambulance.
• Record daily accidents / incidents.
• Assist in station duty.
• Liaise with Medical Centre on medical matters.
• Perform any other associated tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SCDF Paramedic Level 3 with at least 1 year of experience as an operational paramedic.
• Well versed with medical / trauma equipment and intra-venous (IV) management.
• Ability to render and stabilize patients in trauma cases.
• Sound knowledge in the application of rescue / medical equipment and administration of emergency drugs.
• Prepared to work late hours, weekends, public holidays, and be ready for call-up at any time.
• Resourceful, able to work under pressure, with a high degree of integrity, responsible, a committed team player, and possessing good leadership qualities.
