Job description
- Position : Customer Service Executive (Freight) - Up to $3,000 - Changi Airfreight
- Location : Changi Airfreight (With WFH Flexibility to be discussed)
- Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8.30AM to 5.30PM
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Transport Allowance

Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination & Execution
- Manage end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring smooth execution of shipments.
- Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies, and warehouse teams for cargo movement.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any issues or delays.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries.
- Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all import/export regulations.
- Work closely with internal sales and finance teams to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, customs declarations, and invoices.
- Ensure adherence to local and international trade regulations and company SOPs.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and operational performance.
Problem-Solving & Process Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose improvements for better workflow and cost savings.
- Handle exceptions and troubleshoot issues related to cargo handling, customs clearance, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably in freight forwarding software
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and trade regulations.
- Hands-on experience working with shipping lines, airlines, and trucking vendors.
