Job description

Summary Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Review vehicle repair history and highlight any unusual or repeated issues to management.

  • Prepare accurate work orders and repair estimates based on vehicle diagnosis and customer requirements.

  • Conduct vehicle reception checks and document existing damage with the customer present.

  • Advise customers on insurance claim options and assist with the claim process, including negotiations with surveyors or insurers.

  • Promote additional services, parts, and accessories where appropriate.

  • Communicate closely with the workshop team to monitor repair progress and meet promised deadlines.

  • Finalize and explain repair costs to customers, obtain approval for additional work, and process payments.

  • Ensure quality checks are done before vehicle handover, and handle customer follow-ups or outstanding matters.

  • Keep the reception area clean and provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Business Administration

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Motor Claims Advisor is an advantage

  • Prior experience in the Body & Paint department within the automotive industry is an advantage
