Job description

What will you do?
  1. Perform shift duty to support 24x7 DC Operations stand-by duties for emergencies.
  2. Assist in overseeing the IT equipment hardware inventory within the Data Centre.
  3. Manage on-site activities including site preparation, survey, network cabling, electrical wiring, air-conditioning, power supply tests, infrastructure & system maintenance, and standby activities.
  4. Coordinate preventive maintenance for Data Centre infrastructure such as UPS, fire suppression, CCTV, PDU, and access systems.
  5. Operate the Electronic Visitation Management System, updating authorizer and customer access requests accurately and promptly.
  6. Provide remote support including media management, device rebooting, staging, and connectivity testing.
  7. Handle media with care to maintain data integrity and support off-site storage.
  8. Monitor Data Centre infrastructure (UPS, power, temperature, humidity, water detection) to ensure optimal functioning.
  9. Monitor IT Systems and Network infrastructure for events and issues.
  10. Escalate incidents appropriately, ensuring timely response and resolution, including tracking until closure.
  11. Manage and mitigate high-impact system failures and incidents.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  1. Diploma in Computer Information Systems or related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in Data Centre Operations Support and Batch Management.
  3. Initiative, positive attitude, and customer-oriented mindset.
  4. Ability to work independently and goal-oriented.
  5. Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Willingness to work shifts supporting 24x7 Data Centre operations.
Additional requirements:
  • Familiarity with Control-M 9.0.19.x Fundamentals, Basic SAP, Data Centre Operations Support, and ITIL methodologies.
