A leading institution in technical education seeks a Technical Officer to support operations of workshops and labs. You will maintain training facilities, assist with procurement, and manage inventory, contributing to the integration of digitalisation and process automation. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and strong skills in asset management and Microsoft applications.
What the role is:
What you will be working on:
1. Maintain and upkeep electrical training facilities, tools and equipment
2. Assist with day-to-day school operational matters.
3. Facilitate the school’s procurement.
4. Manage the inventory of department assets, stores, and training materials.
5. Support college and school events.
What we are looking for:
1. Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
2. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Proficiency in asset management, including tracking and retirement processes.
4. Competent in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint repository, Power Automate and Power BI)
5. Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in an academic setting.
