Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all electrical and mechanical systems in construction projects
  • Review and approve M&E design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure compliance with project specifications and statutory regulations
  • Supervise site installation works and ensure timely delivery and quality workmanship
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve technical or coordination issues
  • Lead testing and commissioning processes and ensure proper documentation
  • Monitor project budgets and manage cost control for M&E packages
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to project team and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Report progress and issues to senior management
Job Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant working experience in construction or building services
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Proficient in reviewing M&E drawings and specifications
  • Good communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiar with AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Project will be an advantage
  • Registered Professional Engineer or LEW license holder (preferred, but not mandatory)
