Job summary

A leading company in the food manufacturing sector is seeking a dedicated HR professional to manage payroll, employee lifecycle, and compliance with local employment laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a diploma in HR management. This role requires a hands-on approach and familiarity with the FMCG industry.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in Food Manufacturing/FMCG.
  • Ability to communicate with blue-collared foreign workforce.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing monthly payroll, CPF submission, IR21, IR8A submission for assigned BU

  • Manage employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

  • Handle work passes administration i.e. application, renewal and cancellation

  • Administer employees leave, attendance, welfare and benefits

  • Assist in budgeting, manpower planning, recruitment, compensation & benefits and performance management exercise.

  • Submission of all government claims

  • Prepare monthly HR reports

  • Support in developing and implementation of HR policies and procedures

  • Assist in handling employee disciplinary issues and grievances

  • Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Training:

  • Diploma/Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.

  • At least 3 Year(s) relevant working experience (including payroll processing) in Food Manufacturing / FMCG industry

  • Ability to communicate effectively with blue collared foreign workforce

  • Versatile and committed individual willing to take a hands on approach

  • Experience in InfoTech HRIS is an advantage

  • Sound knowledge of local employment laws

  • Able to start work within short notice is an advantage

  • Functional Mandarin is essential due to workforce demographics.
