Job description

Job Requirements

  1. Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities.
  2. Obtain quotations and prepare recommendations for the Executive Director's approval.
  3. Prepare sub-contract/purchasing documents for review and approval by the Executive Director.
  4. Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to the Architect/Client.
  5. Compute variation order claims and prepare final accounts for settlement with the client/consultant.
  6. Prepare final accounts of sub-contract work.
  7. Prepare progress payment certificates for sub-contractors.
  8. Understand the impact/risk assessment and applicable legal & other requirements within scope of work.
  9. Perform measurements and review quotations.
  10. Accurately interpret drawings and specifications, and measure/calculate required quantities.
  11. Collaborate closely with Project Manager, Construction Manager, Client/Representatives, and Sub-Contractors to accurately prepare progress and variation claims.
  12. Incorporate all Project Manager-approved deductions related to QEHS administrative charges from sub-contractor payment documents.
  13. Verify payment documents before submission to Head Office.
  14. Prepare Works Orders, Contractual Agreements, and Payment Certificates.
  15. Handle contractual issues between main contractor and client, and between main contractor and sub-contractors.
  16. Ensure timely submission of progress claims to the client based on accurate measurements of completed work.
  17. Verify and endorse sub-contractor claims against site works and QEHS compliance before forwarding to procurement.
