Job description

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning, and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions. As we continue to enhance our capabilities, we seek a strong and motivated AVP / VP to support our current reporting and finance processes within the Technology Function.

Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with Technology Units in performance management and drive deeper insights through data analysis.
  2. Support MIS and financial reporting, particularly on computerisation expense spending, ensuring consistency across locations and with Group standards.
  3. Understand and manage technology and operations cost allocations, representing them accurately to Business Units, Segments, and Products.
  4. Oversee governance and reconciliation of intercompany resource recharges to Technology functions from development centers.
  5. Conduct periodic fixed assets reviews to ensure proper governance and accurate year-end financial reporting.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Accounting & Finance.
  2. 8+ years of relevant experience; CA/CPA/ACCA qualification preferred.
  3. Proficiency in handling large datasets and understanding data flows/processes.
  4. Good knowledge of banking operations and financial planning & analysis experience is advantageous.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  8. High energy, commitment, and focus as a self-starter.
