Job description

Details:

• Location: East

• Working day: 5 day work week

• Remuneration: $6,000 - $7,000, with AWS and Variable Bonus (VB)

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Air Freight department, including import, export, and warehouse activities.

• Ensure operational excellence and compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.

• Prepare quotations for local and overseas offices/agents, supporting the sales and operations team when needed.

• Negotiate competitive rates with co-loaders, carriers, and vendors.

• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, driving continuous improvements.

• Troubleshoot operational issues promptly and provide effective solutions.

• Ensure timely invoicing of shipments and closure of job files within the specified timeline.

• Identify and implement continuous improvements in operational processes and procedures.

• Coordinate with local and overseas offices/agents on shipment damages or operational issues.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

Requirements:

• Diplona or Bachelor degree or professional certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in air freight operations, with a strong background in both import and export handling.

• Proven leadership skills with experience managing multiple departments.

• Solid knowledge of international shipping rules, Incoterms, and customs regulations.

• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with TradeNet systems.
