Mission

As a Technical Perfumer, you will create and develop fragrance formulations that meet client specifications and regulatory standards. You will provide technical expertise in raw material selection, evaluate fragrance stability, and optimize formulations for various product applications.

Main Job Functions

1. Create and develop fragrances based on client briefs, market trends, and specifications.
2. Provide expertise on raw materials, blending techniques, and performance optimization.
3. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during formulation or production.
4. Stay updated on industry developments, including sustainable sourcing and new materials.
5. Evaluate raw materials for performance, cost, and sustainability.
6. Ensure formulations comply with global regulations (IFRA, REACH) and client guidelines.
7. Keep formulations updated with regulatory changes.
8. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service to meet client expectations and market trends.
9. Participate in client presentations, providing technical insights.

Requirements

Educational Background

• Professional Qualification in Chemistry or related field.

Languages

• Fluent in English.

Skills & Experience

• 3-8 years of experience in a similar role within the fragrance industry, preferably in Asian markets.
• Exceptional olfactory evaluation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle new tasks confidently.
• Proven success in fragrance development in Southeast Asia.
