Job description

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular software upgrades and patches for all mid-range software to ensure versions are maintained at supported levels.
• Provide day-to-day operations, administration, tuning, and capacity management of midrange systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure all mid-range systems operate in a stable and effective environment to meet Service Level Agreements.
• Resolve all midrange system incidents and issues within the agreed timeline.
• Conduct operation fault analysis and recommend improvements to the production batch window.
• Develop and maintain procedures for administration and monitoring of all midrange systems.
• Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery procedures for identified servers.
• Conduct Operational Acceptance Tests before project rollout to production to ensure setups meet requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• At least 5 years of technical support experience at L2/L3 level for Linux, Storage, backups, and/or Windows Server Platforms.
• Prior or current experience in Oracle DB administration/support and debugging.
• Strong knowledge and administration experience in Server Operating Systems – Windows 2016/2019 and/or Red Hat Linux.
• Configuration and administration experience in backup and recovery tools such as NetBackup, Networker, or Cohesity.
