Job Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with Supervisors to educate them about their roles and support their continual development within their career paths at the hotel.
- Train and develop Room Attendants, Supervisors, and Assistant Housekeepers to enhance their competencies and prepare them for career progression.
- Schedule and conduct daily communication meetings with the Housekeeping team to facilitate open exchange of ideas, concerns, and issues related to hotel operations.
- Share and communicate daily guest reviews, GIF, Revinate scores with the Housekeeping team, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for team members under your supervision.
- Assist in ensuring training and development plans are implemented effectively for team members.
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of all equipment used in the Housekeeping Department.
- Oversee all internal and external contractors, including landscape, laundry, room attendants, public area attendants, pest control, etc.
- Supervise the maintenance of plants and floral arrangements within the hotel.
- Support the AEH/EH in budget forecasting processes for the department.
- Represent the department in internal and external meetings and take responsibility in the absence of the AEH/EH.
