Job Responsibilities
- Conduct Operating Supplies & Consumables procurement activities under the direction of the immediate team lead.
- Maintain and adhere to the company’s purchasing policy and procedures, ensuring all purchases meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and propose new or improved administrative processes to drive continuous improvements.
- Create comprehensive commodity/category strategies, including sourcing approaches, supplier selection, cost and quality performance, logistics, with clear roadmaps and technical evaluations annually.
- Excel in supplier negotiations using various approaches such as market tests, long-term agreements, cost modeling, and predictive analytics to maximize value.
- Perform detailed evaluations to ensure competitive pricing, focusing on total cost of ownership and return on investment.
- Summarize sourcing recommendations clearly and convincingly to stakeholders and end-users.
- Conduct ongoing business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve operations, reduce costs, and meet contractual service levels.
- Facilitate purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure prompt shipments and deliveries.
- Interface independently with stakeholders, providing sound advice and recommendations for operational decisions.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, integrity, respect, trust, sincerity, and commitment to innovation amidst change and ambiguity.
- Perform other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant working experience.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant procurement experience, especially in operating supplies categories.

- Strong project management, multitasking, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, strategic thinking, and strong analytical skills.
- Resourcefulness, organization, results-oriented, excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good business acumen with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder management and issue resolution.
- Interpersonal skills focused on end-user needs.
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba, Docusign, Service-Now, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities.
- Experience with financial management, cost savings, contract negotiations, and procurement processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated, and compliance-driven environment.
