An established industry player is seeking a meticulous finance professional to manage general ledger responsibilities. This role involves timely financial reporting, account reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. He/She will be responsible for GL in Finance Dept.
Job Duties:
Timely & accurate month end, quarter end and year end closing and reporting.
Handle full sets of accounts and responsible for preparation of journal entries, reconciliation and monthly closing.
Perform the balance sheet account reconciliation.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data in compliance with policies.
Ad-hoc analysis or related duties as required or assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily financial operation activities.
Perform monthly/ quarterly / yearly internal controls activity document testing.
Prepare GST report and GL analysis.
Prepare Monthly Journal (Insurance, GL reclassifications & etc).
Liaise with external/internal auditors / internal users / banks etc.
Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by Manager.
Desired Profile:
Degree holder in Accountancy.
2 – 3 years of relevant experience in GL & AP Function.
Experiences in SAP.
Familiar with GST rules.
Strong analytical and English communication skills are a must.
Conversant with the MSOffice applications. Proficiency in MS Excel and Pivot is essential.
Meticulous, independent, pro-active.
Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
