What the role is:

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, MAINTENANCE PLANNING

What you will be working on:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager, Maintenance Planning to join our dynamic team. This strategic role offers an exciting opportunity to shape Singapore's public transport ecosystem through innovative fleet management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategise and execute comprehensive fleet planning initiatives to ensure optimal bus availability
  2. Lead bus transfer operations through effective coordination with Public Transport Operators (PTOs) and internal stakeholders
  3. Develop and implement long-term fleet availability forecasts and strategic planning frameworks
  4. Manage statutory lifespan extension processes in collaboration with technical teams and PTOs
  5. Oversee inventory planning, including procurement forecasting, mid-life refurbishment scheduling, and component change-out planning
  6. Generate weekly and monthly fleet status reports
  7. Support Bus Contracting Model (BCM) tender evaluations
  8. Support ISO compliance initiatives and documentation requirements
  9. Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by Team Lead / Management

What we are looking for:

  1. Trained in Engineering, such as supply chain engineering or related field
  2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in fleet management or inventory planning
  3. Expertise in data analytics
  4. Knowledge of optimization techniques such as linear programming
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  6. Proven track record in analytical thinking and problem-solving
  7. Strong project management skills with experience in stakeholder management
  8. Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  10. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
