Job Title: Drafter cum BIM Modeller (Electrical)

Location: Singapore

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: SGD $3,000 – $4,500/month (commensurate with experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter cum BIM Modeller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical shop drawings, coordinating BIM models, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D electrical drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).

• Produce accurate shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation for electrical systems (lighting, power, Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), Lightning Protection System (LPS), Underground Piping, ELV (CCTV, Card Access, EVC), etc.).

• Coordinate electrical services with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) through BIM coordination platforms like Navisworks.

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve clashes using BIM tools.

• Update and maintain BIM models according to design changes or site conditions.

• Ensure compliance with BCA BIM standards and project-specific requirements.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support smooth project execution.

• Maintain proper documentation and drawing archives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITE certification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant drafting and BIM modelling experience in the electrical or M&E construction industry.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP

• Familiarity with Singapore construction standards and codes

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to work independently.

• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

• Experience with industrial projects is an advantage.
