Job description

Our client specializes in private equity investments into real estate businesses. They are seeking Private Equity Associates in Singapore to join their core investment team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate actively in all aspects of the investment process, including deal origination, due diligence, negotiations with stakeholders (investee companies, property owners, capital partners), legal & tax structuring, and deal execution.
  2. Create and prepare investment materials such as presentations, investment memorandums, and analysis.
  3. Build and present sophisticated financial models.
  4. Conduct primary research on potential investment areas.
  5. Create and present portfolio analysis and performance metrics.
  6. Engage in business activities, liaising with senior professionals, investors, and advisors.
  7. Opportunity to travel.
  8. Generate business ideas, analyze investment opportunities, and recommend investments.
  9. Work with senior team members on strategy, negotiations, due diligence, and deal execution.
  10. Build strong partnerships with investors, advisors, and clients.
  11. Monitor ongoing investments, including at the board level.
  12. Assist in managing the overall business of the firm.

Education and Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a top-tier institution.
  • Approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate ventures.

  • Proven leadership with excellent communication, attitude, and work ethic.
  • Strong skills in presentation, research, financial modeling, analysis, and valuation.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Legal, tax, or deal structuring experience is advantageous.
