Job description

Our client, a well-known M&E sub-contractor in the construction industry, is looking for talent as a QS Engineer (Site).

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Manager in handling general contracts and various tender documents.
2. Provide budget costs or estimates as per instructions.
3. Liaise with suppliers regarding their products and services presentation.
4. Find solutions to technical problems during tender processes.
5. Communicate with other departments regarding documents and issues.
6. Coordinate with suppliers/contractors on bills and quantities follow-up.
7. Evaluate and check market unit rates monthly/quarterly for materials and labor costs.
8. Hand over all tender documents and costing details to the project team once awarded.
9. Attend site walkthroughs for tenders of interest.
10. Respond to tender clarifications, and prepare for tender interviews and presentations.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in M&E or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
3. Experience working in a subcontractor environment.
