Role Overview

The Executive/Senior Executive, Operations, plays a crucial role in implementing the operational aspects of SPD’s enclave projects under the Supported Employment Programme. This involves working closely with stakeholders such as trainees, contract staff, employers, schools, and the supported employment team to ensure smooth execution of job training and placement activities leading to employment and independence.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should possess relevant qualifications, experience, and skillsets to effectively manage the operational aspects of job training and placement for people with disabilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Setting Up Enclave Premises: Collaborate with the Senior Manager to establish school canteen enclaves.
  2. Operational Continuity and Maintenance: Ensure ongoing operation by managing leave requests, deployment schedules, and maintenance of equipment and fixtures, including routine deep-cleaning.
  3. Process Improvements: Regularly suggest enhancements to operational processes.
  4. Menu Management & Enhancements: Lead R&D efforts for new product development from ideation to launch.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Work with external stakeholders like schools to organize student engagement activities and participate in SPD events.
  6. Worksite Liaison: Coordinate with health professionals and job coaches regarding team performance and report incidents promptly.
  7. Additional Duties: Support the overall success of the Supported Employment Programme as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in operations.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry or working with people with disabilities is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel across Singapore daily.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Interest and knowledge of the social service sector are a plus.
