Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Leadership CCA Instructor to guide and develop student leaders through structured training sessions. The instructor will help equip students with leadership, communication, event planning, and teamwork skills, preparing them to serve effectively in various student leadership roles such as Student Councillors, CCA Leaders, and Peer Support Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct engaging weekly Leadership CCA sessions.
  • Facilitate experiential learning activities, group discussions, and reflective exercises.
  • Equip students with essential leadership competencies (e.g., communication, problem-solving, team management).
  • Guide students in planning and executing student-led school events or initiatives.
  • Introduce leadership frameworks such as The Leadership Challenge Model or other relevant models.
  • Provide feedback and mentorship to support students’ leadership development.
  • Work closely with teachers-in-charge to align with school values and goals.
  • Submit session outlines, materials, and student progress updates as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in youth leadership training or facilitation.
  • Background in education, student development, coaching, or related fields.
  • Familiar with leadership models/frameworks (e.g., Kouzes & Posner, 7 Habits, etc.).
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • Able to build rapport with students and inspire confidence.
  • MOE IRS registration or relevant training certifications are advantageous.

Working Hours:

  • Weekday afternoons (exact schedule to be confirmed with school)

Salary:

  • SGD 70–80 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
