A leading technology company is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure compliance with EHS and GMP standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical and Electronics or Mechatronics, with hands-on experience in various maintenance tasks and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Job Description:
Executive preventive maintenance activities assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
Attend to machine and equipment unscheduled down and perform troubleshooting and repairs. Implements preventive actions to eliminate re-occurence.
Execute machine installation and qualification together with the equipment manufacturers or with manuals/guidelines.
Maintain a work environment that complies with EHS, 6S and GMP requirements.
Maintain adequate and orderly documentation as specified by the maintenance department procedure.
Request and raise to purchase spare parts and maintain the part stores.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities (Kaizen) to resolve safety, quality and productivity-related issues and improvement.
Support Facility department repair and maintenance when required.
Job Requirement:
Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Mechatronics.
3-5 years working experience in Equipment Maintenance. Added advantage for experience in Optics fabrication and CNC machine.
Hands-on experience in PLC, Drivs, Automation, Electrical Circuits, COBOT, Mechanical, Pneumatics and Hydraulic.
Hands-on experience with Spindle servicing and alignment.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work with all levels.
Team player and good problem-solving skills.
Able to communicate clearly at all levels.
Basic Excel, Word, PowerPoint Office and SAP/CMMS skills.
Willing to work on shifts, weekends, Public Holiday and after office hours when required.
