Business Function:

Responsibilities:

1. Operate in the front office as a licensed representative of a fund manager
2. Maximize fund performance with the best execution of orders in an accurate and efficient manner
3. Monitor risks in the portfolio
4. Gain exposure to portfolio construction, positioning, re-balancing and monitoring
5. Support all aspects of risk and control environments
6. Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Risk and Compliance) to ensure approach is consistent with global practices for controls, oversight, risk and portfolio management
7. Ensure the accuracy of the Net Asset Value
8. Assist in corporate action election and in ad hoc tasks, where necessary

Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in a related discipline with some product knowledge in Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives.
2. An understanding in fund structures will be an advantage. Candidates who have an aptitude to numbers, spreadsheets and problem solving, are strongly encouraged to apply.
3. Independent, with good communication and coordination skills
4. Prepared to lead operational improvements and change
5. Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
6. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with automation tools (e.g. VBA, Python, etc.) would be an advantage
7. Thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges and adept at multitasking
