Objectives of this position:
- Ensure our products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality operations by leading projects that enhance processes, eliminate obstacles, and ensure product compliance.
What will you do?
- Lead and manage quality improvement projects to enhance processes and eliminate obstacles in quality operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and third parties to ensure seamless integration and communication.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies that align with product requirements, with a special focus on hard line products.
- Analyze and interpret technical specifications to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review quality performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on product requirements to support the quality assurance team.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive quality initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to continuously improve quality processes.
- Oversee, maintain, and improve the quality system and drive quality improvement programs.
Travel is required for this role.
What will you need?
- Minimum of 6-8 years of work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in international EU/US trading or sourcing offices, with exposure to hardlines/softlines product development, testing, or related tasks.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced PowerPoint skills.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong understanding of quality processes.
