Role Summary:

You will be responsible for managing the procurement process from vendor selection to contract negotiation and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and select suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria.
  2. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs to identify procurement needs.
  3. Manage RFQs, negotiate prices, and contract terms with vendors.
  4. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure purchased items meet required specifications and timelines.
  5. Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with contracts.
  6. Identify and develop new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and lead time.
  7. Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  8. Ensure procurement activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, PMP) are a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.

Essential Experiences:

  • Familiarity with semiconductor supply chains, including raw materials (e.g., wafers, chemicals, gases), equipment, OEM/ODM sourcing, facility engineering works, IT/CIM products, or related areas.
  • Experience in procurement within the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of procurement strategies, cost modeling, and supplier performance management.
  • Experience working with global suppliers, especially in Asia-Pacific regions.
  • Strong ability to analyze technical specifications and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
  • Solid knowledge of industry compliance standards and material traceability requirements (e.g., RoHS, REACH, ISO standards).
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other semiconductor-specific platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex sourcing projects across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic supply chain challenges, such as lead time fluctuations or geopolitical risks.
