Position Overview
The Lifestyle E-commerce Manager is responsible for leading and executing the brand’s digital commerce strategy. This role oversees online sales performance, customer experience, digital marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth and profitability across owned and third-party platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Manage the full P&L for e-commerce channels, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Identify and capitalize on new digital growth opportunities, including emerging platforms and technologies.
2. Website & Platform Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the e-commerce website, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Coordinate with IT and design teams to implement site enhancements, A/B testing, and mobile optimization.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, SEO-optimized, and visually appealing.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify, Magento) to monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement data-driven strategies to improve sales and customer engagement.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management, highlighting insights and recommendations.
3. Inventory & Fulfillment Coordination
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment.
- Implement processes to manage stock availability and reduce cart abandonment due to out-of-stock items.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and marketplaces to expand product reach.
4. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, including marketers, analysts, and customer service representatives.
- Foster collaboration between departments such as marketing, IT, and customer service to ensure cohesive strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform team development and strategy refinement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the lifestyle or fashion industry.
- Proficient in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing tools, and analytics software.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and web design best practices.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer segmentation strategies.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
