IFF is a global leader in Food Ingredients and Flavors, constantly seeking new challenges and developing innovative solutions. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join us as a Strategy & New Business Development Manager, based in Singapore.

Your Focus

As a Strategy & New Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing business strategies, driving new business projects, and identifying growth opportunities for the Taste business. Your responsibilities include data mining, translating data into actionable insights, and continuously analyzing business performance to identify improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring a comprehensive view of the business. Your expertise will be vital in driving strategic initiatives and fostering data and market facts-driven decision-making across the organization.

How You Will Contribute
  • Develop, review, and implement growth strategies for the Taste (Flavor) segment.
  • Formulate strategies and lead key programs to ensure business growth and success.
  • Explore new business opportunities and model white space expansion.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide data-driven insights supporting strategic decisions.
  • Regularly analyze business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to assess market positioning.
  • Collect and analyze complex data sets to identify trends and inform decisions.
  • Use analytics to understand business nuances and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Work with regional cross-functional teams to develop tailored programs that add value.
Key Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a business leadership role with a commercial focus.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Business Strategy or Development, preferably in the Flavors or Food Industry.
  • Regional experience.
  • Proven success in developing and executing commercial strategies and new business initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience handling large datasets.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using research, market, and competitive data.
  • Ability to solve complex business problems using data analysis.
  • High proficiency in Salesforce, BI tools, databases, and data analysis techniques.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Influential negotiator and capable of working independently across time zones.
