Job Description:
- Create ASEAN OEM Sales development strategy together with the client's subsidiary (Indonesia, Thailand) as well as distributors (Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines)..
- Lead each country’s sales development activities by guiding each country’s sales staff and distributors to win the targeted projects from automotive makers.
- Formulate sales strategies that align with company objectives and provide clear direction to regional teams.
- Organize department resources to maximize selling activities and ensure targets are met.
- Explore and expand into new markets, identifying opportunities to grow market share in the OEM segment.
- Provide regular sales reports and market analysis to upper management, offering insights into trends and competitive landscapes.
- Coordinate with R&D and production teams in Japan HQ to align product offerings with market demands and ensure seamless client communication.
- Oversee the management of regional offices, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and effective operation of teams in various countries.
- Maintain direct engagement with key clients to negotiate contracts and secure large-scale projects.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business administration/management/sales marketing or relevant discipline.
- Minimum5 years of experience in the Automotive OEM business as a Tier 1 supplier, ideally in the in-car entertainment segment.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in car audio products such as navigation systems and audio equipment.
- Must be familiar with automotive OEM development procedures and Tier 1 supplier requirements.
- Strong connections with ASEAN automotive OEMs, especially Japanese brands’ purchasing, R&D, and sales departments.
- Robust understanding of business and operational processes, branding, and product positioning strategies.
- Excellent leadership qualities with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing multi-national teams and distributors to ensure goal alignment and effective operations.
- Willing to travel frequently within short notice (approximately 50% of the time).
- Independent and self-driven personality, capable of working with minimal supervision and delivering results under pressure.
