An established industry player is seeking a dedicated logistics professional to manage freight operations and customer relations. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring efficient cargo movement and compliance with regulations. Rotating Shift Arrangement
Responsibilities:
Served as the main liaison for customers, managing freight inquiries, bookings, and end-to-end shipment tracking.
Coordinated seamlessly with internal departments, carriers, and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective cargo movement.
Handled customer complaints with professionalism, delivering prompt and effective resolutions to maintain service excellence.
Prepared, reviewed, and managed key shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and import/export records.
Monitored shipment status and proactively communicated updates, delays, or issues to customers.
Supported freight rate negotiations and assisted in preparing accurate and competitive quotations.
Maintained comprehensive and up-to-date customer records, ensuring accuracy and system integrity.
Ensured strict compliance with customs regulations, industry standards, and internal company policies.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
At least 4 years of experience in booking, cargo handling, and documentation within air freight operations.
Strong advantage for candidates with experience coordinating with airlines, ground handling agents, and co-loaders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
