Job description

Regional Visual Merchandising Executive

Assist Regional Visual Merchandising Director in the end-to-end creation and implementation of merchandising tools for Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop POSM & display in advance, according to regional and local marketing plans.
  • Develop and update soft merchandising guidelines for Domestic and Travel retail.
  • Provide animation/outpost/pop-up one off design or guideline from planning to final design.
  • Plan and update product planograms for new product launches & discontinuation of product
  • Plan planogram/merchandising guidelines for new counter opening/renovation.
  • Liaise with suppliers on the prototyping, forecast & production of merchandising tools, with the focus on cost, quality and timeliness.
  • Support the consolidation of merchandising tools forecast for production.
  • Provide soft merchandising advise or solutions to local teams.
  • Conduct research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle.
  • Consolidate photos of soft merchandising installation from markets after each launch & provide timely feedback back to markets.
  • Identify and source for merchandising material and best practices of soft merchandising to elevate customer experience.
  • Participate in ad-hoc design projects such as store opening, mega launch, Public Relation events & outdoor Façade design.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Graphics, Interior Design or visual communication.
  • Possess at least 3-5 years of experience in Graphics / Visual Merchandising/ retail design.
  • Efficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch up and excel software. Knowledge of AutoCad is an

advantage.

  • Strong technical expertise in design, detailing, plastic and print technology.
  • Possess strong creative, excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work in a team.
