An established industry player is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of critical systems in a hospital environment. This role involves managing service partners, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading improvement projects. Overview
Reporting to the Group Facilities Management institution lead, you will oversee the AirCon Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) and Mechanical System serving the Hospital Premises. This includes but not limited to, working closely with service partner on Preventive Maintenance, Capex Project works and all contracts, works by the Specialist vendor.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee operation, maintenance, modification, and replacement of hospital facilities, M&E services, and non-clinical equipment.
Ensure maintenance agents meet KPIs, audit their work, and ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulations.
Lead and support facility improvement projects, including renovations, system upgrades, and funded initiatives.
Advise on resolving system failures, recommend replacements, and prepare technical specs, estimates, and schedules.
Audit and ensure high standards of maintenance for critical systems essential to hospital operations.
Monitor worksite safety, infection control, and patient safety measures, supporting FSM and security matters when needed.
Ensure prompt response and recovery for system breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
Handle work requisitions, enforce house rules, inspect sites, and support infrastructure development and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in management of ACMV, M&E services and facilities operation as well as improvement projects
Certificate in Fire Safety Manager/Officer or relevant fire safety experiences will be advantageous.
Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Able to perform under tight deadlines and fast pace environment
