Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Catering Officer in the Equipment Department, you will coordinate and plan operations to ensure timely, efficient, and safe completion. Shortlisted candidates will rotate across three functions:

  • Ware Wash: Responsible for service crew deployment, working with service providers to maximize output, checking unwashed carts, preventing backlogs, and contributing to operational strategies. Lead and train the service crew in the area.
  • Gallery Build-Up (GBU): Manage daily deployment, conduct quality checks, sort and pack equipment per airline requirements, and ensure accuracy and compliance. Train new hires and oversee the build-up of airline equipment and carts.
  • Cutlery: Oversee daily team deployment, quality checks, packing, and timely delivery of cutlery packs. Unpack incoming flights' cutlery and train new staff.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma in any discipline preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work during weekends and public holidays.
  • Energetic, physically fit, and hands-on.
  • Motivated team player with strong responsibility and urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Effective communicator capable of leading and motivating teams and providing process updates.
