Job description

Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location:Tuas

Working Hour: 44 hours

Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end closing and reporting. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Handle full spectrum of AP & AR, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and receipting.
  • Perform account reconciliation and follow up on outstanding payments or discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers on billing and payment matters.

2. General Ledger & Bank Reconciliation

  • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper posting into accounting system.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy of records.

3. Financial Reporting & Closing

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Support in preparation of management reports, financial statements, and audit schedules.

4. GST & Statutory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit GST filings (F5), CPF contributions, and other relevant statutory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with IRAS, ACRA, and other regulatory requirements.

5. Administrative & Ad-Hoc Duties

  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting documents and records.
  • Assist in budget tracking, fixed asset updates, and internal controls.
  • Provide support on audit, tax, and other ad-hoc finance-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP).
  • Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to speak and write in Mandarin (Chinese) professionally to communicate and report back to our HQ.
  • Willing to work in Tuas. Company transport provided at Jurong East MRT.
  • Working Hours: 44 hours/week including rotating shifts for weekends and Public Holiday.
