Business Function

DBS’ Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client’s needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to shape and deliver strategic digital projects to support DBS’ vision to become a strong digital wealth player
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across investment products, treasury markets, technology, and vendors to enable smooth execution of the strategic vision
  • Work effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects
  • Acquire in-depth understanding of products and business processes to articulate business needs and rationale, formulate solutions, and drive constant transformation
  • Identify new strategic opportunities and translate ideas into products
  • Drive innovation across Investment Platform through experimentation and partnership with Fintechs
  • Manage platform governance including coordinating with Platform Business and Tech Leads, Business Product Owners, Project Managers, Technology partners and Finance to manage and track Platform’s budget, headcount, conduct workshops and round tables where required
  • Work with Platform Transformation team to achieve the Platform Transformation KPIs and key milestones for the platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, engineering or other related field
  • Min 10 years of working experience
  • Good understanding of banking & fi
  • nancial knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products
  • Prior experience in the Fintech/tech start-up space will be a major plus
  • Healthy blend of strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to execute and an eye for detail
  • Analytical and data driven approach to problem solving
  • Team player
  • Good interpersonal, excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to quickly command trust and respect from management and stakeholders
  • Creativity and ability to think out of the box.
