Job Function Summary

The Treasury Technology team at Millennium is responsible for creating the systems required by the Treasury and Treasury Operations Departments. As part of the Treasury technology team, you will be providing strategic solutions, flexible solutions for data capture, and data modeling and optimization across workflows. You will sit directly within the Treasury organization and will interact with our IT colleagues to ensure best practices and drive strategic deliverables.

This opportunity will enable the successful candidate to develop an excellent understanding of Treasury business and the impact it has on the firm, as well as the role that Technology plays in solving some critical Treasury business problems. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on applications responsible.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Work across a global technology organization to solve business problems.
  • Face off to global business stakeholders to drive requirements and manage projects.
  • Own delivery timelines for Treasury applications and projects.

Qualifications/Skills Required
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, or other similar focus with excellent academic results.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to an Object-Oriented Programming language.
  • Understanding of database design and interaction.
  • Familiar with web development.
  • Good problem-solving and analytic skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, energetic, independent work ethic.
  • A keen interest in financial markets and how they operate.
  • Interested in an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with optimization techniques and quantitative modeling is a plus.
  • Applicants must be able to commence full-time employment from December 2024 onwards, hence must possess a graduation date of between December 2024 to February 2025.
