Job Description:

• Promote and replicate cloud computing solutions tailored for the financial industry, including Huawei Cloud HCS, GaussDB, related hardware, and services.
• Engage with mid-to-senior level stakeholders at key financial institutions to communicate the value proposition and technical architecture of Huawei’s financial cloud solutions.
• Understand customer pain points and scenario-based requirements; match them with appropriate solutions or coordinate internal resources for customized design.
• Design cloud infrastructure based on the Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) architecture.
• Develop cloud database solutions (e.g. GaussDB) for core financial services, ensuring security, stability, and high availability.
• Lead technical presentations and drive solution adoption through cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct regular industry analysis and customer insights to improve our financial industry solution offerings.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.

Requirements

• Master Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Control Theory, or related fields.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, database systems, or IT solutions within the financial industry.
• Proven understanding of public and private cloud principles, architectures, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) and associated networking or solution design.
• Familiarity with cloud databases such as GaussDB, Oracle, MySQL, or equivalent, including system development or integration experience.
• Direct experience working on ICT projects in the banking or financial services sector, particularly core banking systems, is highly desirable.
• Strong solution communication, technical presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze industry trends and translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
