Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute public engagement projects focused on nature conservation and sustainability, in collaboration with local partners.
  • Proactively identify and establish partnerships with stakeholders to develop new initiatives in Singapore.
  • Assist in designing and refining public engagement strategies to promote environmental awareness and action.
  • Develop project proposals, reports, and educational materials.
  • Manage project communication across digital platforms (website, social media, newsletters) to amplify outreach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in conservation biology, ecology, environmental science/management, sustainability, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of professional experience in nature conservation, sustainability, or public engagement, with a proven track record in project coordination/management.
  • Experience in grant writing, proposal development, and impact reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore’s ecosystems, biodiversity, and key environmental challenges.
  • Familiarity with local environmental policies and stakeholder landscapes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in social media management and basic skills in photography, video production, and poster layout
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to dynamic project needs.
