DESIGNATION: Senior / Operations Engineer, Transmission

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role supports the Transmission Operations by providing 24x7 engineering support for operation and maintenance aligned with the business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain company's and external customers' TV and Radio transmission equipment
• Perform first-line maintenance on optical links, microwave links, TV and radio transmitters, programme input equipment, etc.
• Oversee the maintenance of M&E equipment such as diesel generators, UPS, electrical switchboards, and facilities systems such as fire alarms and security systems
• Carry out Business Continuity Plans
• Perform heavy TV and Radio transmitter maintenance under the supervision of maintenance engineers
• Conduct remote monitoring for DTV remote sites and provide fire line support, reporting issues to the maintenance team if not resolvable remotely
• Report and log daily activities in the PC system
• Comply with Cyber Security Policy
• Drive the company vehicle to provide ferry services to staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• Preferably 2 years of experience in a related work environment
• Fresh diploma holders with relevant educational backgrounds will be considered for junior positions
• Ability to work on a 3-shift rotating schedule
• Possess a Class 3 driving license
• Good knowledge/experience in:
