DOO you have what it takes?

What you’ll be working on:

• Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business goals, particularly in CRM and Securities, Futures and CFD Brokerage operations.
• Platform Development & Management: Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the CRM platform tailored for Securities, Futures and CFD Brokerage firms and financial advisors.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (including software engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, data science, and product teams) with proven experience in managing high-efficiency remote teams.
• Technology Governance: Establish governance frameworks, development methodologies, and architectural standards, leveraging the latest large-scale system frameworks and components (2025 standards) rather than maintaining legacy architectures.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure system security, data integrity, and high availability.
• Technology Innovation: Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities and user experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, compliance, operations, and customer success teams to define technical requirements and priorities.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with CRM platforms, cloud providers (Alibaba Cloud, AWS), and third-party integration partners.
• Resource Management: Oversee technology budgets, timelines, and KPIs.
• Culture Building: Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the tech organization.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or financial industry certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent leadership role, with hands-on experience in managing systems supporting 2M+ users and 100K+ concurrent online users.
• The candidate must be willing to travel to the Malaysia office as required for business needs.
• Familiarity with CRM systems in Securities, Futures and CFD Brokerage or wealth management.
• Strong background in system architecture, cloud computing (Alibaba Cloud, AWS), API integration, and data engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, with experience in high-concurrency and distributed systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Experience with modern software development practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps).
• Up-to-date with 2025 technology trends and capable of applying them to system design.
• Soft Skills: Experience of leading more than 300 people product development team, excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive strategic decisions and influence teams.
