One Data Streaming Platform.Data Connects Us.About The Role As a Cloud Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal rolein Confluent’s Customer Growth go-to-market strategy. Responsible forleading a team of Cloud AEs, you and your team are the heart of our newlogo sales growth engine. This team of Cloud AEs is passionate aboutacquiring new customers, growing the streaming data ecosystem, anddeveloping their sales skills. You will be measured on your team’soverall quota, new logo acquisition, and growing Confluent usage. Cloud Acquisition Team is a new business salesfunction focused on landing new Cloud Customers and growing consumptionwithin their accounts. As a crucial part of our sales team, you will haveaccess to hot markets, numerous resources, and a diverse set of supportiveleaders. To be successful, you’ll be hardworking, energetic, andmotivated by leading through change, driving new business, and solvingproblems.What You Will Do Proactively hire, train, coach, and manage a team of motivated CloudAEs to increase Confluent’s footprint in strategic and emerging markets.Inspire a culture of hard work, collaboration, customer love, andongoing improvement.Develop productive and trusting relationships with customers andinternal stakeholders.Encourage and support continuous learning and understanding of atechnical product and technical customer base.Build and execute your team’s success plans, ensuring forecastaccuracy and the growth of a predictable, ambitious business.Grow consumption in PAYG and Commit accounts (ARR) across yourterritory.What You Will Bring You are motivated by building a collaborative, high-performing,inspired team culture. You have about 3+ years of people-managing experience building andmanaging high-growth teams serving customers within the Cloud, Data, orSaaS sales industries.History of exceeding sales quotas and KPIs in high-growth, competitivecompanies.Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value of complex cloudtechnologies, especially with technical customers.Proven ability to solve complex business problems and adapt to thefast-changing nature of high-growth companies.Passionate about growing your career and developing an in-depthunderstanding of Confluent Cloud products, use cases, and customers.
